Today is a very special day - Dadajee’s 70th birthday...and his first birthday without his youngest son, Muhammad Adam. We could write him special birthday wishes but we know nothing would mean more than to remind him of these last precious birthday wishes from his birthday last year. These special wishes were written by our beloved @adamdidam on 7th January 2019... . “Daddy. My superhero. My bestfriend. My everything. You can’t ever imagine how much I love both of you & Mummy, and I couldn't have asked for a better father other than you. Daddy, you may be my father, but in my eyes... You will always be my bestfriend who would spend your time on Facetime with me everyday, who would smile from ear to ear listening to my endless stories, who would listen to all my problems, who would give the best advice, who would recite Doa everynight whenever I’m not feeling well, who would call me just to ask on your fashion style, who would discuss on random topics like a shaver, who would bebel whenever I skip my meal, who would say ‘everything will be alright’ whenever I’m in doubt, who would do anything for each other. 💛 We are facing uncertain times and have had to radically change the way we live our lives. Having spent more time at home during this Covid19 pandemic has made me realised that even the struggles, the emptiness, the failures, and the pain that we’re going through can be a blessing in disguise too! These difficulties will teach us what really matters most in life, may it be family, love, career or others, empathy has totally encourages us to be the best version of ourselves. In life, there is always something to be thankful for. If we start to be thankful for everything we have, instead of what we do not have, we’ll start to appreciate our life on this earth more. To my son Dylan💛 You’re already nine! Part of me and Daddy swells with pride when we see the boy you’re growing up to be. The other part wishes we could turn back time and hold you in our arms again (well I’m glad I can still carry you) You’re growing up so fast; sometimes we can’t quite believe it. All we can hope for is that the years bring as much beauty to your life as you have to ours. May you grow kinder and wiser with each passing year. Thank you for being such a wonderful son Dylan. You have brought so much happiness and joy to our life. Remember, you will always have Daddy, Daniel’s and Mama’s love and support and you never cease to make us proud.
